Camera is a DSLR using no flash or artificial lighting. The table is setup under a high branching tree so I get filtered light even with all the fog we had yesterday. What makes these photos pop(IMO) is the blurred background, gives the image some depth and highlights the subject. The further the background is from the subject the more out of focus it becomes, in this case it's 6ft behind the table.
