Shibui ice inked

Purchased this glaze months ago and finally had the time and the pieces to do a ^10 firing. This 5" square bonsai pot was made with paperclay, walls are 1/4" thick and perfectly square.

Just gorgeous! The glaze is a real winner and I would love to know more about it.

Appreciate the kind words!

David,
The glaze is from Leslie's Ceramics in Berkeley, CA, it's their brand and their recipe. It's cone 10, I fired it in oxidation at a fast rate with a 15min hold at the top and normal cooling speed. Once it was cool enough india ink was applied to highlight the crackage.

Lovely crackle work - reminds me of a thousand year old egg.
