Cissus tuberosa

My next experiment; to take a cutting and create a squat bulbous base similar to a seed grown plant. Rooted the cutting last summer and pruned back to the base yesterday, then place cutting in pot to produce another plant. This weekend I'll put in the raised bed to accelerate it's growth and increase the size of the caudex.

Hi
I'm new to the cissus and over the course of the summer ( while i was away ) it grew 2 four foot vines ... or runners. I want the caudex to get larger so should i trim them or.... any suggestions would be helpful. thank you

I would like to know also. Mine is growing all over the place but the caudex hasn't increased in size for 10 years.
