I came from Anthony Foo's blog since you mentioned you handbuild and like Black Mountain and Cassius - I love the dark clays too. Did you fire your Black Mountain paperclay pots posted below yet? I am curious how did you add the paper and what type did you use? I am anxious to try paperclay myself as I handbuild too. Interesting, did you say you assemble your pieces when they are almost dry? I have never tried this. I look forwarding to reading more of your posts. I'll add you to my blogroll. Thanks.
Thank you for the kind words Linda! I think I have about 10 or so black mountain pclay pots to bisque, will fire on Friday and report back. There are so many that make pots for C&S and wanted to try to create something different. BTW, I'm preparing some cassius pclay this week.
